Yedi Başak Humanitarian Aid Association has been continuously expanding its field work in response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza since 2016. Yedi Başak teams deliver water, flour, bread, hot meals, tents, food parcels, hygiene kits, and baby formula directly to families in areas where hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes in the attacks and lack access to basic necessities.
The Seven Ears of Wheat Humanitarian Relief Association, which has been carrying out humanitarian aid work in the Gaza Strip before and after October 7, is launching a new water well project in Khan Yunis, Gaza, to honor the memory of martyred journalist Saleh al-Jaafari. The project aims to address the ongoing water crisis in the region and improve the living conditions of thousands of displaced people.
The well, to be opened in the city center of Khan Yunis, will facilitate access to clean water for approximately 300,000 people. Furthermore, a surface water distribution line will be established to distribute the water to a wider area. Initially, the well will be operated three times a week for six hours each time using a municipal generator.
In Khan Yunis, one of the areas most severely affected by the water crisis in the Gaza Strip,
this project will significantly improve water security for both city residents and displaced families living in refugee camps. With this project, the Seven Ears of Wheat Humanitarian Aid Association aims to revitalize life in Gaza and strengthen social resilience.
The Seven Ears of Wheat Humanitarian Relief Association is taking over and reactivating the long-abandoned Jarsbali Orphan Care Center in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. In Somalia, hundreds of thousands of children struggle to survive without meeting their basic needs due to parental loss, conflict, drought, and poverty. This project implemented by Seven Ears of Wheat aims to provide direct support to hundreds of orphaned children and families who have lost their parents and been affected by war and disasters.
